Tina Phillips joined MultiState in 2013 and now serves as Vice President. Tina leads MultiState’s marketing strategy and is responsible for accelerating the company's growth through new client recruitment, client retention, strategic partnerships, and new product development. She is also the 2018 Immediate Past President for the Washington Area State Relations Group (WASRG) and served as a 2017-2018 Board of Director for Women in Government Relations (WGR).
Tina came to MultiState after serving as Manager of Member Services for the State Government Affairs Council (SGAC), the national association for multi-state government affairs professionals, which provides opportunities for networking and professional development. While in that role, Tina was solely responsible for new member recruitment and the retention of over 200 member organizations. She also lead SGAC’s marketing efforts and spearheaded the SGAC mobile app. Before SGAC, Tina was an Account Manager Representative for CEB, a global best-practice and insights company headquartered in Rosslyn, VA. Tina started her career at CEB in the IT practice, then later moved to CLC, where she identified new business opportunities among Fortune 500 Chief Human Resource Officers and implemented retention strategies to secure millions of dollars in business revenue.
Tina graduated in 2008 from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She is from southern New Jersey and resides in Nashville, TN.
