Denys Emmert

Denys is a Senior Policy Analyst and has been with the company since 2019. Denys is in charge of tracking state and federal legislation related to COVID-19. He also works to track other various policy issues for our clients. Denys has over a decade of experience working in the political field. Previously he worked on technology and gambling issues for Definers Public Affairs. Prior to that, he worked for the lobbying firm American Continental Group, covering a wide array of issues for corporate clients. While with the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Denys managed their Advocacy Day, during which he set up all of their advocacy meetings, trained over 100 doctors and students on grassroots activism and created materials for the organization to use while lobbying. He was also personally responsible for getting a member of the House to be the lead sponsor for legislation worked on by the association. Denys has also helped to manage a local political campaign by training field staff and volunteers. He has also worked for the Software Information Industry Association and as an intern on the Hill. He is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Political Science and Marketing. While at Florida State he studied abroad at Tianjin Foreign Studies University in Tianjin, China.
