States and Localities Move to Block Campaign Finance Contributions from Foreign-Influenced Corporations

A new month means upcoming state and local lobbying deadlines. In June, 23 states have periodic disclosure requirements, plus seven localities in three states. In other words, if you’re already registered in one of these jurisdictions and are required to file disclosure reports, you must do so in the coming month. Additionally, there are two states with annual registration due in June (Colorado and North Dakota). If you plan to lobby in these states you must renew your registration.
