Matt Konenkamp is a Senior Advisor to MultiState with over 24 years of experience spanning political campaigns, executive-level policy advising, and successful client advocacy. A former Senior Policy Advisor to Governor Dennis Daugaard, he brings unique insight into governors’ office operations, legislative strategy, and relationship-building at the state and federal levels.
Matt holds a J.D. from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law, where he served on the Law Review Board. Following a judicial clerkship, he worked as a litigation attorney and received advanced training in mediation and negotiation from Harvard’s Negotiation and Leadership course and the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University. He spent seven years at Cowen Consulting, a boutique national government affairs firm, before founding his own state government affairs practice. Matt serves as a Senior Advisor to MultiState while continuing to manage his independent firm, Integritas State Solutions.
Based in Rapid City, South Dakota, he is known for crafting creative strategies that deliver results for clients across the country. Matt and his wife Joslyn have four boys: Jack, Luke, Liam, and Brody.
