Senior Associate
Spencer Andrews joined MultiState in April 2024 and is a Senior Associate on the Compliance team. Born and raised in Sayville, New York, he graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Minors in History and International Relations. Upon returning home to Long Island, he obtained a Masters of Arts in Public Policy from StonyBrook University.
In his current role, Spencer serves Multistate’s Northeast based clients, specializing in the complex lobbying laws of New York State and its municipalities. He advises lobbying firms and organizations through filing discrepancies, audits, and unique lobbying compliance questions.
Before joining MultiState, Spencer served as Director of Operations and Services for a New York State Senator managing intergovernmental affairs, communications, and constituent services. Spencer is well versed in New York State lobbying compliance having worked at Long Island-based firm McBride Consulting and Business Development Group, where he managed the company’s lobbying disclosures at the New York State, New York City, and Nassau and Suffolk County jurisdictions.
A dual citizen, Spencer is an avid traveler and has visited numerous countries as well as over two dozen states. He is a fan of collegiate and professional sports, having competed in Division 1 college athletics at the University of Hartford.
