- In May, 27 states have periodic disclosure deadlines, in addition to localities in three states. A“periodic disclosure” means that if you're already registered in one of these jurisdictions, and you’re required to file disclosure reports, you must do so in May.
- Annual registrations are due in two states in May, as well. This means you will need to renew your registration in these states if you will be lobbying after May 1st.
A new month means upcoming state and local lobbying deadlines. In May, 27 states have periodic disclosure requirements, plus localities in 3 states. In other words, if you’re already registered in one of these states and are required to file disclosure reports, you must do so in the coming month. Additionally, there are two states with annual registrations due in May. If you plan to lobby in these states you must renew your registration.
