Liz joined MultiState as a Senior Policy Analyst and Economist in 2015. Prior to this, she served as an economist in the Tax Foundation's Center for State Tax Policy for three years. During her tenure there, Liz managed the Foundation's state chart book program, provided ongoing state tax policy and economic analysis, and presented to state lawmakers and tax stakeholders around the country on pertinent state tax issues. Her work and comment has been cited by numerous national and state news outlets, including The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
Prior to her work with the Tax Foundation, Liz worked at the Wyoming Taxpayers Association. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in History, both obtained from the University of Wyoming. Liz also holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Duke University, which she obtained in 2012.
