Kristen Lee joined MultiState as a Data Associate in 2024 and currently serves as a Senior Associate. She plays a key role supporting the firm's largest government data client, helping manage a database of vehicle fees and taxes covering all fifty states, thousands of counties, and more than 19,000 municipalities across the U.S. Kristen analyzes transportation legislation to provide clients with timely updates and supports the engineering team with quality assurance as new data sources are integrated into the platform.
Before joining MultiState, Kristen worked as a Technical Operations Specialist at Stripe, where she handled reconciliation for trillions of dollars moving through the fintech giant's global payment and treasury network. Prior to that, she spent four years at SAMBA, a nonprofit employee benefit association, adjudicating medical and vision claims.
Kristen holds a bachelor's degree in Information Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a graduate certificate in Data Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She lives in Maryland with her husband, David, daughter Elizabeth, son Nathan, and cat Samby. In her free time, Kristen enjoys gardening, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
