Lauren Doroghazi

Lauren Doroghazi joined MultiState in 2012 and is now a Principal of the firm. Lauren is deeply involved with multiple solution areas: she leads the firm’s Issue Management team; manages policy initiatives for clients as part of the Strategic Government Relations practice; and collaborates with MultiState’s engineers on platform development. She is passionate about client service and is dedicated to quickly delivering extraordinary results to her clients. Lauren serves as a mentor and is committed to helping our team of experts achieve their professional goals. Lauren is an expert on state labor and employment policy and works closely with all of the firm’s clients to inform them of legislative activity and emerging trends in this area that will have an impact on their businesses and industries.

Earlier in her more than a decade with MultiState, Lauren served as Policy Director for the Council of State Chambers of Commerce (now the National Association of State Chambers) and managed several of the organization’s policy committees. She tracked legislation on state labor and employment policy and worked closely with all of the firm’s clients to inform them of legislative activity and emerging trends in this area that had an impact on their businesses and industries. Lauren is a frequent speaker before trade and professional associations and corporations, including the State Government Affairs Council, state chambers of commerce, retail and service industry executives, the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, the Public Affairs Council, and Women in Government Relations.

Lauren’s prior experience includes serving as an editor for ProQuest, where she researched legislative histories of federal laws, and time on Capitol Hill and in the Canadian Parliament.

Lauren earned a Master in Public Administration from The George Washington University, and she holds undergraduate degrees in political science and history from the University of Michigan. Lauren is the co-founder of the MultiState Women’s Forum and a Director of the State Government Affairs Council.
