JR Perez joined Multistate as a Tax Policy Analyst in early September 2022. Born and raised in Aurora, IL, he graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and attended Roosevelt University where he earned a Master of Arts in Economics. Before joining MultiState he has been a part of a number of state and local agencies including the Maryland Comptroller and City of Baltimore. In his free time, he enjoys reading and honing his programming skills. He presently lives in Rockville, MD.
