Mary Kate Barnauskas

Mary Kate Barnauskas serves as Manager, Health Policy at MultiState, where she supports clients on a wide range of healthcare policy issues and helps monitor legislative and regulatory developments across the states. Since joining MultiState in 2022, she has become a key member of the firm's health policy practice, leading MultiState's monitoring and reporting on Prescription Drug Affordability Boards (PDABs) nationwide. She also contributes to several MultiState client publications and works closely with healthcare clients on policy research, strategic analysis, and insights on emerging state health policy trends.

Prior to joining MultiState, Mary Kate worked as a Policy Specialist at the Michigan State Medical Society, where she focused on physician policy issues, and also interned in the Michigan Senate. Mary Kate earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
